Hello everyone. I apologize again for not updating anything sooner... Been busy as always. First news: Sadly, Ryan Kailath has had to leave the band due to his move to New York City... He is awesome, and will be missed! If you see him on the streets of NY, tell him Shep and the Band says hi. Luckily, we have found a replacement in the form of one... Randy Scott! Randy will be picking up the Bass, and Mark will be moving over to guitar to fill Ryan's shoes! (No idea why Ryan had to leave his shoes with us and why they are required to play guitar in the band... don't ask). Secondly: Album is almost done... and should be out by the beggining of March! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! I can't wait to get my hands on it (neither can you)! There should also be shirts soon... and SHOWS, shows and shows and shows, all up and down the east coast! So WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! Be Good, -Shep
Thought I'd let you know that I'm almost done! ALMOST DONE! The reason it has taken so long is simply because other stuff gets in the way, and I want it to be really good... I want to be really proud of it... you know? Anyway, stay tuned and stay good.
Man! Time flies when your trying to record an album. Anyway, the band is almost show ready and the album is 4/10 songs recorded. I think I'm going to 'master' the album myself (not like that means anything to most of you out there so it may take a bit longer. Also, the only reason the album is taking forever is because life and time is too short and I want to make sure all of my hype is justified. When I'm done, I'm going to be very happy with it and am going to jump ahead and record the next album. Hold on tight... or loose but check back every now and then. Anyone notice the image(s) in the bottom right corner? Cool Huh, though it might make things a bit hard to read...

Things are under way here at SSP central. Things are coming along on both fronts of the Shep Shapard Project Initiative. First, I am indeed slowly but surely recording the SSP's first album, tentatively titled, 'Forever and Always.' I can't wait till its done and I can't wait to share it with you! Second, the SSP is actually becoming a band consisting of more and more members. It looks like the SSP is going to be Mike 'Shep' Shapard (This Boy's Trouble, Faraday), Mark Leiber (Faraday), Jen Roy (various projects), Brendan Gilmore (Maple and Firme, Gen-X, and many more), and Ryan Kalaith (This Boy's Trouble). Speaking on the behalf of everyone else, we can't wait to play shows for all of you!
